The knife certainly is in focus, but I would prefer to have the eyes be the point or plane of focus. Of course I am starting to realize that you prefer action--particularly if it has ominous overtones--to classical feminine beauty. This shot combines the two, sort of a 1950's war bride look (plus lip ring), a kitchen knife (a sign of her domestic role, though I forget when serrated knives were first marketed), all of which is fit for an ad in a 1950s magazine. Except for the Bryant Lighting which puts a Hitchcock cloak over everything. Clever! But in my book, Molly has nothing to fear from possible competition from Gerry.
