Although the universe is ablaze with more colours than the human eye can detect, we can also learn to see the world in new ways by returning to the roots of the art of photography, to the art of black and white, and other monochromes like sepia (and bi-level). This photo blog celebrates that spectrum of colours ranging from the darkest monochromes to the most brilliant whites, and everything in between.

Is that the périgée moon or just your usual? Great lighting. The little lights from homes (boats?) put things in perspective.
Perigee moon indeed. Clear sky all day then clouds before moonrise, sheeeesh. I felt I had to get something out of it and this is it. I went to the eastern Cutchogue causeway (same exact location as the latest post on FTNF) to have a largely unobstructed eastern view. It was a pleasant twilight.
